Badd is the main protagonist of To the Bone. She's tough, hyperactive, and not the brightest but she's very caring and sweet to everyone.
She was adopted by Angel Wolfe: a priestess that found her as a baby crying on the snow after a snow storm (yes, Arizona has those sometimes).
Badd's case as a baby was strange, not only because of her placement in the snow, but because nobody could find her parents. No matching
DNA, no records of missing children, just a lone baby by herself, baring a birthmark of an 8-arrowed cross on her left arm. Angel, already
having experience with raising adopted children, took Badd under her wing.
Badd's upbringing was a difficult one. She got kicked out of every school she was sent to, given that she was too rowdy to handle and could
not get a good grade to save her life. Not to mention she was abnormaly strong and was capable of hurting anyone, even adults. So, Angel, with
no other choice, did her best to homeschool her. This was not easy for Angel, but she was determined to give Badd the best chance she could
get, and Badd was happy.
Things got pretty out of whack when her small town of Carmack was invaded by Pandemonium, the cosmic army of Chaos. She woke up the
noon it happened to a *mysterious voice telling her she's the only one who can stop this sudden invasion. Throwing on her favorite punky getup
that she's kept for years (she's small), and being thrown a shotgun by her gun-touting neighbor, she set out to save the world from whatever the
fuck is happening. The town, as she always knew it, was going through a change or two. The sun was scared with the same mark as she had on
her left arm, the sky was a deathly purple, the streets being overrun by abominations not seen by this world. What were they? Aliens? Demons?
Doesn't matter. Badd's incredible ability to rip (and possibly tear) things apart, durability, knack for big guns, and surprisingly good on-the-
fly problem solving will make her the most likely hero out of all of them.
*The mysterious voice wasn't a result of the trauma the world is bringing. This is apparent by the things it's doing for Badd. Can't carry more
than 2 guns? Here's a pocket arsenal you can magically store them in. The invasion? It started in Phoenix (it did). It does tell bad to do some
pretty messed up things, like kill civilians, but Badd's got an ironclad will that won't ever break.
